Sometimes it’s important to trust the process, and for this one, I definitely had to trust it! When I made my last post, I was in the middle of working on the cover for the sequel to the Temple Unleashed and honestly, it was not looking good.
But, with a little faith, time, and changing of the dimensions of the sword and the stone on the cover, the end product is not only something I like, but maybe even nicer than the original!
For this cover, the author wanted the same style, but with more ominous red. Adding the red stones pulled it all together, making a sequel cover that is definitely a sequel, but not an exact copy of the first cover!
This is one of two covers I completed yesterday, with the other being a premade fantasy book cover inspired by will-o-the-wisps. That’s one that will be coming out in the next couple of days!
