If you came up on the Notre Dame Basilica suddenly, having somehow avoided the rest of the walk through Montreal to get there, you’d think you’d landed in a much older building in Europe. During a recent visit to Canada (and my first!), I got the chance to take some photos of the beautiful interior and surroundings of the Basilica. The majority of these photos will likely live in my camera roll forever (I took hundreds), but here are a few of my favorites.
Can you tell that I really enjoyed the ceilings? Because I certainly did. At some point, I would love to also post some of my photos of the many, many dishes I tried and books I considered buying, but until I edit the 2,036 photos I took, this is just a taste!
